However, these policies were designed to prevent cooperation with secular investigators. For instance, when an elder called the Legal Department he would be asked what state he lived in. If that state required clergy to report child abuse to law enforcement, a recommendation was made that the elder make an anonymous call from a telephone booth. No doubt this was done so that law enforcement authorities would be unable to contact them for more information.

Elders really do not want to get involved so they have to make anonymous phone calls! Shame on them, most of them are probably parents! Err! WTBTS has too much control over peoples minds and it really make me mad. Not even the elders can think for themselves to do what is right in God's eyes!

Too bad that Jehovah's Witness parents go along with such garbage in any state!

How can a victim have two witnesses watching such an act! It really does fall on the parents to protect their children no matter what an organization claims! I know that parents are manipulated and controlled by the WTBTS not to press charges, but it still is the parents job to protect their children not any organization.

Jehovahs Witness has been preaching for 90 years, like the days of Noahs who preached 120 years before the flood, so add 90 to the 1914 equals 2004 plus thirty years. 2034 according to WT in 2004.

But in my mind one more day is not soon enough!

These questions are based on quotes from the above books! Just to show that the John class of today still think they are getting divine inspired light, flashes of light! It was kind of strange to see they believed in speaking in tongues in Rutherford's time which was considered the end of the 144,000 class with only 8,800 a live today.

Hello Heathen, the above quotes are taken from Rutherfords books and also Revelation It Grand Climax Is At Hand expresses that at one time WTBTS did speak in tongues at the assemblies. Later, they believe there was flashes of Divine Light! That is the point!

As far as Jesus cleansing his Temple, it appears that in these writings the WTBTS and Rutherford believe they are the earthly temple, but let us not forget that in 1914 or was it 1915 that Satan was cast out of heavens. That was probably in the holy of holies close by Jehovah thrones. LOL

YOU need to re read my entire post because the question goes with the books I quoted. But thank you for noticing! No one else did!

i was recently reading some old threads on jwd back in the days when a poster named "youknow" was here.

(2002) he would stand toe-to-toe (or at least he thought he did) with the likes of alanf, refiners fire, seven006, and many others.

I think I would do ok if I was just as prepared with the topic. Mainly, most JW are a broken record! It always the samething.

Also, I noticed they really just quote one scripture from a chapter here and there which is taken out of contexts to what the chapter is referring! It like the latest KM look how wrong it was with the scriptures they quoted! Well it is the samething with the debates!

Most of these people are prepared and have an agenda! So really are they honest? If not YOU can slam dunk the hell out of them and leave their faces in the pavement. Then have a cold one! Oh and if you question them in person they will always say the same thing. If they do not know the answer: they say YOU should know this answer, YOU have been a JW for a long time! Well what can you say after that one! because you really do know the answer to any question you had asked them. plus some! So how can you challenge them to get them stimulated when they come back with that kind of silly reply!

I think there is a scripture where Jesus was given power to resurrect himself. Also, Jesus resurrection out of his grave but was did not asend to heaven until later. The JDUBs teach that when Jesus asension happen In Acts his body change(etheral) into the clouds. Because flesh and bones does not go into heavens.

As far as his resurrection, he had power to do what ever he wanted to do but when Marys went to see him he was not prepared to go to heaven as yet and they should not touch him. I just thought I would mention that one.

I know they did not recognize him but he did eat and Thomas touched him so does that mean he was prepared to go into heavens?

It all interesting! one more thing I like the fact that while Jesus was in the grave he preached to the one who were put into darkness.

Was There Any Watchtower Interpretation That You Never Quite Understood?

i knew what the watchtower taught regarding the "faithful & discreet slave class" but how they could ever suggest that "domestics" were "individual members" of the anointed that were given food to the other anointed ones, yet they specifically were not members of the governing body, but the governing body represented the group that would take the lead in feeding others, was beyond me!

the whole interpretation of the fds doctrine is ridiculous!.

were there certain things that puzzled you as to how the watchtower could come up with a particular view?

Years ago, I posted this on Silent Lambs but I no longer have the quote or book to back it up. It was a little girl sitting on a man's lap. The quote, "Even demons can make you fondle a child's sex organs." The paragraph said that when a child comes forward. The person who the child is blaming and child can come together and that would help the person. So they protected the sick person!

So blame everything on demons! I took the book and quote to a professional and he said that no religion would write such a thing! and to get by with it he must have been a very sick person and high up in the religion. He said it was a mind of a perverted person. Also, why would someone want to write something and allow young children to view this subject? only to gain his own personal kick. Most Christians try to protect their young from subjects like this one.
